Summer Strawberry Lemonade

strawberry1Nothing will quench your thirst more on a hot summer day than a little strawberry lemonade in a mason jar (you know my obsession with mason jars). Hope you enjoy this quick and easy refreshment!

4 Cups of Fresh Lemon Juice
1 Bag of Frozen Strawberries
3 Cups of Water
3 Cups of Sugar

Mix Lemon juice and water together. Add Sugar. Depending on how sweet you want your lemonade, you can adjust the sugar accordingly. Add in frozen strawberries and let it chill in your fridge for half an hour before serving. Serve with ice in a mason jar and straw for best results 😉

Aedriel Originals: Oh, Hello Today.

aedriel mug

This mug! I’ve been a fan of Aedriel’s stuff for awhile. After seeing her instagram introducing her new mug–I hurried to see if I could grab one before it sold out. Saldy, I was too slow! I have her “Hello, My Name Is Awesome” mug so this is going to be the perfect pair to it. My current mug doesn’t fail to put a smile on my face during my morning coffee.

She promises that she will be making more soon so be sure to keep stalking checking her site. Her coffee mugs aren’t the only cute kitchen stuff she has either. Check out her petite personalized dishes and other kitchen essentials at

Single Serving Deep Dish Cookie A La Mode

I don’t attempt making desserts very much.  The last time I baked was two dozen snickerdoodles on a Friday off. Being that I live alone and saw only one friend that weekend, I ate  a dozen of the cookies on my own. This recipe is perfect way to make sure that doesn’t happen again.  Although, it’s so easy to make that it wouldn’t be hard to make a second serving if you wanted to (uh oh). The Single Serving Deep Dish Cookie is delicious and I would even dare say it can be just as delicious as  BJ’s Pizookie.  There are no eggs in the recipe so if you want your cookie a little more gooey and undercooked–go for it! It’s my favorite way to eat it.

2 tbsp of unsalted butter
1 tbsp of brown sugar
1 tbsp of sugar
1/8 tsp of vanilla extract
1/8 baking powder
1/4 cup of flour
Your favorite chocolate chips

Melt the butter in the microwave. Add in the brown sugar, sugar and vanilla extract. Make sure you stir it well. Next, mix in the baking powder and flour and pour into a small microwavable bowl. Spread out and add chocolate chips on top. Next you can either bake it in the oven or use the microwave. Depending on how cooked you want your cookie to be, you can cook it in the microwave from 40 seconds to a minute. If you want to use the oven, you can bake it for about 10-15 minutes at 350 degrees.   Lastly, top it with some vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup. Enjoy!

I saw someone on twitter make this today so I had to try it since I had a couple avocados at home that needed to be used soon. This is a perfect breakfast if you aren’t too much in a rush since they do cook in the oven for about 16-20 minutes.

1 Egg
1 Avocado
Salt & Pepper
Any additional Seasonings

1. Cut Avocado in half and and take out seed.
2. Cut off a piece of the back of the avocado so it can lay flat.
3. Sprinkle salt in each pit hole.
4. Scramble one egg with a fork. Pour half the egg in each pit hole. If your pit hole is too shallow, remove a little of the avocado in the center.
5. Season the top of the egg with pepper and any other spices or condiments you like (i.e. Paprika, Chili Powder, or Hot Sauce)
6. Put it in the oven in a oven space pan or baking dish for 16-20 minutes at 425 degrees.
7. ENJOY!!
